Reality Bites Us In Da Booty

Published by martian2angel at 2:41 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

Am I real?? Recently, Sarah Palin has attempted to separate Americans according to their reality. I think this trend is spreading because my financial reality was questioned at a Lauderdale County Alabama DHR office when I applied for food stamps a few months ago. I explained to the worker I was a disabled veteran, a student, and a musician. The nice lady gave me an awkward look, told me when I decided to get a “real job” I could bring her some tax forms (which I brought from years past), but since I had an “odd job” I would have to follow a more complicated procedure. I suppose the $1,000,000 per show that Jimmy Buffett rakes in is all in his head. That’s comforting.

It might be comforting to be considered a “fake American” during this time of B.S. I know that my veteran status permits me certain privileges, however, I will take my liberty of free speech and say that anyone who has the gall to say any U.S. citizen is a fake American by the standard they aren’t real, is not deserving of any public office…not even taking out public trash. Does the fabric of America, as McCain describes, only survive if people who check registration cards are smarter than the idiots that turned in the name of a cartoon character?

You might ask yourself, “should I really care anymore?” Yes…the answer is yes. Try thinking of life like this…McCain is elected. The country goes more broke from military operations. John dies from some kind of aging factor. Sarah takes over, and we go into debt without production to return credit. If you’ve ever watched a horrible movie about Chinese drug runners…or any drug runner…then you can imagine the next scene. It sucks.

But don’t think we have it all rosy with Obama. This man’s purpose is to pay off the war, return credit, and get us ready for the next offensive. I love Hollywood…little images can suggest so much to a boring mind. Bill and Hillary made a lot of money doing this for the Bush clan, and now they have to bring in a substitute, but don’t be surprised to see those two right in the middle of either Pennsylvania Avenue or the United Nations.

Only two weeks left, and now it’s time to make up our mind. I hate being confused, and I truly feel sorry for the first-timers…not exactly what you thought it would be, right? It is the most important election EVER!!!! I tried to push the modern era off as the Critical Era to one of my professors, but I don’t think it worked yet. Everything is the most critical thing in history these days. At this rate, I’ll be so bored by the time I hit 40 in 8 years that I’ll sit in a corner and randomly scream cuss words at flies. Of course, depending on your imagination, you could apply that same fate to this great country…as it falls leaderless into the financial bottomless pit, filled with apathetic fools that only care for the events happening 5 minutes in front of them, and forget everything beyond 10 minutes behind them. To the winners of this historic election I say congratulations and good luck because no matter how many people support you today, that many more will hate you tomorrow.

Is it sad that lately I’ve been making little speeches in my head of what I would say if I was running for office?

…maybe if a nominee said what I thought then I wouldn’t be forced to do this.

We know what we would get with a McCain presidency and that’s bad. There are more unknowns for an Obama presidency however as far as I can tell it probably wouldn’t/couldn’t be as bad as McCain.

Both of those candidates are operating under keeping our economic system at the status quo though. The “changes” they talk about making are minor compared to what comprehensively needs to be reviewed (ie: Federal Income Tax and the Federal Reserve, to name a few).
